FEELS LIKE HOME

A few days ago, while flying back from somewhere warm, Mike and I watched the latest Bridget Jones movie. It was quirky and predictable. But true love—I think—is always a little quirky and often very predictable in the sense that you just know.

You know it when you find it, and you know how it's going to turn out, because it strengthens your intuition, which is how you also know—on some level—that it is for you.

“Sometimes you just love a person just because they feel like home.”- Bridget

I was going to say that true love brings that feeling of home—of peace, comfort, and warmth—but, actually, true love is peace, comfort, and warmth. Whether you're together or far apart, your person—that other soul, the one who's truly meant for you—will always be your home.

Sending everyone much love and hoping that this Valentine's Day is a gentle and peaceful one for all.
